Community Herbalist, Digital Storyteller
Holly Phillips is a community herbalist, educator, and artist based in northern Alberta, working at the intersection of plants, place, and everyday life. She is the founder of Trail of Adventure, where she offers workshops, flower essences, and art rooted in the boreal forest and aspen parkland. Holly is also part of the Harmonic Hills land trust and emerging ecovillage, where she is involved in land-based learning, regeneration, and community-building. She runs a local Herb Club at the Mayerthorpe Public Library and co-organizes Sangudo RegenFest, a rural skills and regeneration gathering. Her work is hands-on, relational, and practical, shaped by years of listening closely to the landscapes she lives and works within. Known for her warm, accessible teaching style, Holly invites curiousity, experimentation, and real relationship with plants, encouraging people to learn by doing, noticing, and spending time with the living world.
