Alicia is a foraging expert, experienced herbalist, and certified nutritionist. Her deep-rooted connection to nature has led her to explore locally available wild foods, medicinal herbs, and creative uses for invasive species, such as crafting baskets and paper. Throughout the year, she leads numerous plant walks across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, offering participants the opportunity to connect with nature and learn about local plant life. Today, Alicia holds multiple certifications in nutrition, herbology, and horticulture, complemented by thousands of hours dedicated to the study of botany, plant identification, and foraging. Her philosophy revolves around responsible and ethical foraging practices, advocating for sustainability while nourishing both body and soul.
