Herbal Medicine Student
Rositsa Bogdanova is an artist, a passionate gardener and herbal medicine proponent. She completed a six-year training as a medical doctor in Bulgaria, where she worked as an Emergency physician. She came to Canada in 2007 where she continued her science and teaching education as a PhD student in the department of Surgery at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. At this time one of her special need kids started to deteriorate rapidly suffering from a incurable form of parkinsonism. Rositsa decided to switch directions and to explore herbal and natural approaches of helping her children. Currently she is enjoying her Master's studies at the WRC of Natural Healing. She is also conducting independent research on metabolism and neurodegeneration. Rositsa is a herbal community enthusiast and a determined mom of three with medical science background ready to uncover the potential of plant medicine.
