Jacqui Wilkins is a mixed Yakama, Irish & Eastern European Naturopathic Doctor, Indigenous Plant Medicine person, birth worker, teacher, and wisdom keeper. Originally from the Mountains of Montana (Apsáalooke Land), Sagebrush & Sandstone. Founder of Xálish Medicines, a Plant Medicine line made in ritual & aligned with seasonal shifts. Jacqui tends to the Medicine garden while growing, crafting & picking Medicines on the Land with her little one. Recently relocated to Snuneymuxw territory. She is passionate about sharing knowledge & wisdom of Earth based practices, plant medicines, medicine making, Traditional Chinese Medicine, ancestral reverence, pre-conception/birth/postpartum support, and Earth tending (gardening) – to bring a sense of connection & Community into our daily lives. She teaches online herbalism courses, guides circles, as well as workshops for healing + wellness + food sovereignty within community. Honouring her maternal lineage, Jacqui weaves clinical knowledge with traditional wisdom from a mixed Indigenous lens. Decolonizing our rhythms, definitions of wellness & weaving Ancestral wisdom into her Plant Medicine practice. Jacqui’s teachings are rooted in deepening our relationship with our Ancestors, the Land & fellow Humans – to bring healing & harmony for all of our Relations.
