Althaea Herbals is a co-creation of embodied herbal medicine and somatic practices rooted in the wisdom of nature. Our offerings include clinical herbalism, education, somatic therapy, and herbal products. Travis Cartwright is a clinical herbalist, herbal medicine maker, educator and co-founder of Althaea Herbals. He maintains a professional membership as a Registered Herbal Therapist (RHT) with the British Columbia Herbalists Association (BCHA). He received his formal education from Pacific Rim College and has furthered his study with The School of Evolutionary Herbalism. Marie Zak is a clinical herbalist and somatic therapist specializing in nervous system regulation, mental health, and psychosomatic conditions; she is a co-founder of Althaea Herbals. Marie is a Registered Herbal Therapist (RHT) with the British Columbia Herbalists Association (BCHA). She completed her herbal training through Pacific Rim College and studied Somatic & Relational Therapy through Mariah Moser’s program, Opening to Grace.
