CARPOOLING

Point your GPS to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 217 in Salmo, BC.

We encourage carpooling to lessen the impact of vehicles. These resources can help you make ride connections.

Parking

All tickets include Free Parking. You will be directed to the Parking area once you have registered.

If you’d like to camp with your vehicle, RV, or trailer, you’ll need to buy a Vehicle Camping pass.

BY PLANE

THE CLOSEST AIRPORTS ARE:

Trail, BC – Flights available through Pacific Coastal Airlines – 43 km, approx 50 minutes drive to Salmo – Regional Airport (flights from Vancouver South Terminal Only)

Castlegar, BC – 44 km, approx 50 minutes drive to Salmo – Regional Airport – Flights available through Air Canada, flights dependent on weather & clearance of skies.

Cranbrook, BC – 197 km, approx 2.5 hr drive to Salmo – Int’l Airport (plus time change)

Spokane, WA, USA – 169 mi, approx 3.5 hr drive to Salmo – Int’l Airport (plus Border Crossing time, recommended route via Paterson shown, 24 hr crossing)

With all options, additional ground travel arrangements must be made from the airport.

CAMPING

Adjacent to the Gathering site, we have reserved campsites in the shady, wooded Municipal Campground. The campground has hot showers, a children’s playground, gazebo and numerous picnic areas. Cooking is permitted.  Dogs are not permitted on the premises.

The campground is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for participants. 

2 types of camping passes are available:

Tent Camping: 1 tent spot for Friday July 7, Saturday July 8, Sunday July 9.

Vehicle Camping: 1 RV, van or vehicle spot for Friday July 7, Saturday July 8, Sunday July 9. No hook-ups available.

No single night camping passes available.

REGISTRATION

Registration begins on Friday July 7 at 11 am, and will be available each day.

Please come visit us at the Registration Desk at the Royal Canadian Legion and park within the 15 minute loading zone – we’ll give you your nametag and direct you to where you should park your vehicle.
