Case Review: Concussion

This workshop will focus on a case study involving a young adult who sustained multiple concussions while playing competitive hockey over a period of five years. The final concussion he experienced led to the end of his hockey career and significantly impacted his daily life. Symptoms such as persistent headaches, difficulty concentrating, sensitivity to light and sound, and digestive problems became a part of his everyday existence. Additionally, the client was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 11, and his lack of physical activity post concussion contributed to elevated blood sugar levels.

The client had two primary objectives: to enhance his cognitive abilities to effectively handle schoolwork and to alleviate his recurring headaches.

During the workshop, a comprehensive initial protocol will be shown on the nutrition, herbs, supplements, and lifestyle modifications recommended to the client as well as follow-up recommendations over a period of four years.
