This workshop will illustrate the methods (via powerpoint and video clips) which we use to gather and preserve the medicinal plant knowledge of indigenous cultures, with particular emphasis on elder healers. We will present footage from Peru (highlands and jungle), India (highlands and lowlands), Australia (aboriginal bush culture) and Belize (Seven branches of Maya medicine practice).
