For thousands of years astrology and herbalism were both taught and practiced hand in hand. For the vast majority of history, medicine people were herbalists AND astrologers. Hippocrates, considered the founder of modern medicine, even said “A physician without a knowledge of astrology has no right to call himself a physician”.

Herbalism and astrology are holistic subjects that seek to find relationship and correspondence between plants/planets and people. When integrated we can take this holistic perspective to the next level. As the ancient alchemical axiom states, “As above, so below”, herbal astrology applies the influence of cosmological energetics and the language of archetype to more deeply understand people, plants and how their medicine can be used to support our health.

In this workshop we will review the 7 planets of herbal astrology, their archetypes, energetics and explore their related plants.
